Jeddah Yacht Club Marina to Showcase a Spectacular Collection of Superyachts for Jeddah Season 2022

Jeddah Yacht Club Marina (JYC Marina), Jeddah Yacht Club, and Jeddah Yacht Club Academy will be graced by the presence of some of the world’s most remarkable and stunning yachts during Jeddah Season, following the marina’s grand launch in May 2022.

The marina will be hosting a diverse array of vessels, including ultra-modern foiling boats, round-the-world racing yachts, a-class tall ships, and a collection of luxurious superyachts. These maritime treasures will gather at JYC Marina to celebrate Saudi Arabia’s rich marine heritage and align with the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

Jeddah Season will comprise nine designated zones to host various events, including Jeddah’s Superdome, Al-Jawhara Stadium, Jeddah Jungle, Jeddah Yacht Club, Jeddah Art Promenade, Jeddah Pier, Prince Majid Park, City Walk, and Al-Balad.

The festivities will feature nightly fireworks displays along Jeddah’s promenade, K-pop performances, a science festival, and a special performance by Cirque du Soleil Fuzion created exclusively for Jeddah Season.

Mohideen Nazer, Senior Vice President at Parks, Resorts, and Hotels for Sela, expressed excitement about the state-of-the-art facilities, stating, « We have brought together some amazing sailing and power boats from all around the world, including super high-tech foiling boats, luxury superyachts, and incredible ocean racing yachts. »

During Jeddah Season, visitors will have the opportunity to partake in thrilling sailing and powerboat experiences. These activities will include mast climb challenges, yacht tours, and water sports programs.

The Festival of Yachting Lifestyle will take place from May 11th to 16th, 2022, at JYC Marina. It will showcase superyachts and luxury boating brands from renowned names such as RIVA, Princess, Pershing, Gulf Craft, Custom Line, Ferretti Yachts, Di-Antonio, Brunswick, and many others.

The iconic Jeddah Yacht Club, which overlooks JYC Marina, will welcome prospective members to experience the allure of this exclusive club. The club offers a luxury wellness center, the Social House restaurant curated by Michelin Star chef Jason Atherton, a beach club in partnership with Omnia, a VIP RIVA Sky Lounge, and a business center.

Samia Bagdady, CEO of the Saudi Sailing Federation, emphasized the event’s role in rekindling the marine spirit of Jeddah, promoting the Red Sea coast, and inspiring a new generation of Saudi sailors. She welcomed all to join the remarkable program of activities.
