Azimut is all set to make a remarkable entrance at the 2025 Singapore Yachting Festival, which will take place from April 10 to 13. The prestigious event marks the highly anticipated Asian debut of the Seadeck 7, fresh off its American launch. Alongside this stunning new model, Azimut will also present the Magellano 60 and Grande Trideck, showcasing the brand’s commitment to excellence and innovation in yachting.
This year is a particularly significant one for Azimut in Asia, a region widely recognized for its immense growth potential in the luxury yacht sector. The company is actively expanding its presence in the region with a detailed development plan focused on strengthening its distribution network and enhancing services dedicated to yacht owners. This expansion will be celebrated with the first-ever Azimut Asian Rendez-Vous in Tokyo this spring.
Azimut’s success in Asia has been marked by the sale of yachts up to 40 meters and its recognition at the 2025 Best of the Best Awards by the Hurun Research Institute. The awards recognized Azimut as the most appealing brand among High Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs) in China, while the Seadeck 7 was honored as the Luxury Hybrid Yacht Best New Arrival. These accolades underscore Azimut’s continued leadership and growing reputation in the region.
A Star Attraction: The Seadeck 7
At the heart of Azimut’s presentation at the Singapore Yachting Festival will be the Seadeck 7, the second model in the Seadeck series. This groundbreaking yacht offers a refined, eco-conscious way of experiencing the sea, blending cutting-edge technology, modern design, and a deep commitment to wellness and environmental responsibility.
Visitors to ONE°15 Marina at Sentosa Cove will have the opportunity to explore this innovative yacht, which is the first in the world to combine hybrid propulsion with the Volvo Penta IPS system. The Seadeck 7 also incorporates the latest in hybrid-electric technology, with features like extensive carbon fiber usage and a high-efficiency hull developed in collaboration with NAMES and the Azimut|Benetti Group’s R&D Department. This combination allows the Seadeck 7 to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 40% over an average year of use, showcasing Azimut’s dedication to sustainability in luxury yachting.
A defining feature of the Seadeck Series is the « Fun Island, » a reimagined aft cockpit designed by renowned architect Alberto Mancini. This innovative design transforms the area into a seamless terrace that embraces the sea, creating an intimate, barrier-free connection with the surrounding environment. It’s an experience that emphasizes wellness and offers a deep connection to nature—values that Azimut has woven into every aspect of the Seadeck 7.
The yacht’s interiors, designed by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, continue this theme of conscious design. The materials chosen are natural, recycled, and recyclable, offering both sustainability and luxury without compromise.
Expanding Azimut’s Presence in Asia
Azimut’s Chief Commercial Officer for EMEA-APAC, Enrico Chiaussa, commented on the significance of the Singapore Yachting Festival: “This event is the perfect stage for presenting the Seadeck 7, which embodies Azimut’s vision of new, forward-thinking lifestyles aboard yachts. Asia is now one of the most dynamic regions globally, with our owners in APAC demonstrating a strong bond with the brand’s values and a growing interest in sustainable, innovative proposals. We are confident that the Seadeck 7 will be warmly welcomed in this market, where Azimut continues to strengthen its leadership and expand its market share.”
Alongside the Seadeck 7, Azimut will also present the Magellano 60 and Grande Trideck, with the latter enjoying growing popularity in the region. The Grande Trideck has already seen the delivery of two units in Asia, with a third scheduled for delivery in the coming months. This underscores Azimut’s growing footprint in the superyacht segment and its reputation for delivering excellence to discerning owners in Asia.
The Singapore Yachting Festival promises to be a significant milestone for Azimut as it continues to showcase its technological prowess, innovation, and dedication to sustainability, reaffirming its position as a leading force in the global yachting industry.
