Ferretti Yachts 800 Redefines Life at Sea with Bold Innovation and Italian Elegance

Ferretti Yachts continues to push the boundaries of nautical luxury with the introduction of the all-new Ferretti Yachts 800, a flybridge yacht that blends cutting-edge design with unparalleled comfort, privacy, and functionality.

Unveiled at Boot Düsseldorf and currently under construction at the Ferretti Yachts shipyard in Cattolica, the FY800 marks the next step in the brand’s evolution, rounding out the range renewal that began in 2018. With an overall length of 24.47 meters (80 ft 3 in)—or a slightly shorter version to comply with French regulations under 24 meters—the yacht boasts a maximum beam of 5.91 meters (19 ft 5 in).

A Design Statement of Bold Elegance

Developed in collaboration with the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, the FY800 brings a distinctive look and feel to the Ferretti Yachts lineup. The exterior design by Filippo Salvetti showcases a sleek, modern profile, characterized by the flybridge’s sloping lines, diverging from the traditional parallel-to-hull design to create a dynamic yet balanced silhouette.

Salvetti describes the yacht’s new surface treatments and layout distribution as “an audacious and functional approach that elegantly redefines space across the main deck, upper deck, and flybridge.”

Refined Interiors by Ideaeitalia

The interiors, curated by IdeaeItalia, reflect a sophisticated approach to both design and layout. Two distinctive decor moods—Classic, inspired by earthy elements, and Contemporary, featuring bright woods and marine-toned fabrics—offer a harmonious balance of elegance and warmth, all in pure Made in Italy style.

Particular attention was paid to flow and functionality on the main deck, where a redesigned galley opens onto both the helm and main salon. Innovative circulation paths separate guest and crew movement, enhancing privacy. Unexpected luxuries for a yacht of this size include a day head on the main deck, and in the owner’s suite, a dedicated vanity area, double sink zone, and a spacious en-suite bath.

Immersive Sea Experience

Natural light floods the main salon through expansive windows, offering breathtaking panoramic views from every angle. The salon, paired with a refined dining space for eight and a fully equipped galley behind a sliding partition, creates a seamless entertaining environment. Separate access routes allow crew to reach the helm and galley without disturbing guests.

Outdoor living is elevated through several meticulously designed spaces:

  • Aft beach area (7 m²) with a fold-down transom sofa

  • Cockpit (15 m²) featuring a glass parapet for enhanced sea views

  • Forward lounge (14 m²) with a sunpad and C-shaped sofa

  • Flybridge (40 m²), one of the largest in its class, equipped with dining area, bar with optional stools, and Talenti-designed loose furniture.

Comfort Below Deck

The lower deck houses accommodations for eight guests across four cabins: a full-beam master suite (18 m²), a forward VIP stateroom, and two twin guest cabins—each with private en-suite bathrooms. The crew area is accessed from the port-side gangway and features three separate cabins, ensuring full discretion and privacy.

Powerful Performance Options

Owners can choose between two propulsion packages:

  • Standard: Twin MAN V12 engines delivering 1,550 hp for a top speed of 27 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots

  • Optional: Twin MAN V12 engines with 1,800 hp, pushing speeds to 31 knots max and 27 knots cruising (estimated performance)

With the launch of the Ferretti Yachts 800, Ferretti reaffirms its vision of yachting as a refined, forward-looking lifestyle—where aesthetic sophistication meets smart functionality. This bold new chapter promises owners an elevated, private, and deeply immersive experience at sea.
